Here are my answers to this week’s TMI Tuesday questionnaire.
1. If your partner buys you a sexy little “something,” is it a present for you or for your partner?
Most of the time (99.9%), if anything sexy is purchased, it’s me buying something for Allie. Of course, many of those gifts are enjoyed by both of us: usually directly by Allie, and indirectly by me. At least most of the time. :)
2. What are 3 characteristics of “your type”?
My type? How about if I describe the three characteristics of the type of man that Allie and I are usually interested in meeting. She tends to lean toward guys that are polite and non-pushy. She doesn’t like guys that try to hard, nor does she want a man that is constantly bugging us to play–as if we’re the only thing on his social calendar. You’d be surprised how often that happens. We meet a guy that we really like hanging out with, then all of a sudden, our phone is ringing off the hook every night and our email inbox is full of requests to get together.
It’s also important that guys we meet be able to have a decent, interesting conversation about things other than sex. Of course you can’t tell by reading the blog, but we’ve got more going on between our ears than just sex all the time. Ask us about things we’re interested in and engage us in other ways than just fucking her brains out. Be funny. We’re interested in meeting friends as well as lovers.
Cleanliness and hygiene round out the three most important characteristics, I think. Don’t smell. Don’t overdo it with the cologne either (ick). Don’t be a smoker either. That won’t just do.
Notice that no where above does it mention well-hung, athletic, super-attractive, etc. Those things are nice, but we’re always going to be interested in people that are real, normal and have an unspoken authenticity about them that doesn’t read like a perfect personal ad headline.
3. On a scale of 1-10, how good a cook are you?
Ten being the best? I’m a 3. Maybe a low 4. Allie is a 9, low 10. That’s right guys. She can cook too.
4. Tattoos: Love them or hate them. On you? On a partner?
Meh. I lean toward dislike. I’d never get one–I wouldn’t know what to get. Allie is cool with them on guys though–just don’t be inked up from head to toe, like some kind of circus freak. She has a tattoo, by the way. But it’s starting to fade and needs to be redone.
5. Stubble: Good or bad? How often do you shave?
I usually shave once a day. I just had a beard for about two weeks though, but I shaved it off because one of my best friends said it made be look too old. When I shaved it, it was one of the smoothest shaves of recent memory.
Allie shaves her legs as often is convenient. She’s resisted shaving “down there” recently though, only keeping it slightly trimmed, and I have to say that I like it a lot. It’s a refreshing change of pace from my preference of neatly shaved, or even completely shaved, pussies.
Bonus (as in optional):What are a few of your favorite things (both sexual non-sexual)?
Hmmmm… My Mac. Chocolate chip cookies. Starbucks. Early-morning blowjobs. When the weather is cool enough for a sweater, but not a jacket. World of Warcraft. Hanging around the house. Christmas shopping.
