My behind the scenes photos at Kink.com

After yesterday’s cuckold photo post about Men In Pain, I forgot to mention that I hadn’t yet shared photos from a private behind-the-scenes tour I had this past spring of the Kink.com studios. I apologize that the photos are a little grainy–I took them on my iPhone, and the light was kind of dim. You would not believe that place though. It is literally a fortress dedicated to kink and fetish. I had a great time wandering around a lot of the different sets they have created. Thoughts about cuckolding mentioned on Howard Stern

As covered yesterday by Fleshbot, cuckolding was introduced to the Howard Stern on his radio show by a porn starlet this week–and not necessarily in the best way, in my opinion. I mean even bad P.R. is good P. R., but the fact that it was explained by someone with obviously an unclear grasp of what it really means, and that definition of cuckolding was heard by a vast, mainstream radio audience. Plus after folks heard that the explanation grossed out Howard and the gang, this certainly won’t help it’s perception at all.

“Cuckold? What’s that?” asked Stern. He said he had heard of the term bukkake before, but had never heard of cuckold.

Lie Lani explained that - at least in the Kick Ass version - a cuckold is a humiliated husband who watches his wife have sex with a black man. “He cums in me,” she explained, “and then my husband has to eat the black man’s cum.”

Loud groans from Stern and everyone in the studio followed the explanation.

“I can’t believe there’s a term for that!” commented Stern show producer Gary Dell’Abate.

“So that’s what cuckold means!” said Robin Quivers.

“And this actor you worked with, he ate the black man’s cum?” Stern asked dubiously.

Lie Lani affirmed that he was very into it, prompting incredulous “Wows” from both Stern and Quivers.

So…now Howard and his listeners think that cuckolding is all about interracial cum eating. Great.

Look. I’ve got nothing at all against interracial cuckold encounters or cum eating, but I think it’s just too bad that this is how it was introduced in that venue. Cuckolding isn’t about those things at all. They are certainly powerful fantasies of a number of people that enjoy this fetish–but it’s certainly not the definition.

Explanations abound online for what it means, but maybe we should begin formulating our own definitions of what a cuckold and the act of cuckolding are–and what they mean to us. Anyone care to begin the conversation in the comments?

I love seeing reports like this. It’s nice to know that sexuality products (books, movies, magazines and the Web) don’t have to be relegated to some dark, seedy, Red-light district of the Internet. We’re coming out, people! Guns blazing!
