We took some time off from the site for a little while, to clear our heads after a very busy holiday season and New Year. But we’re back! Thanks for all the great email and blog comments in the meantime. They really piled up–but I think I’m finally through them all. I’ve kicked this idea around for awhile now, and I think now is as good a time as any to experiment with it. I’ve added a small message board for hotwife and cuckold discussion to Hotwivesonline.com. It’s going to be very much a work in progress. At the moment, you’ll hear nothing but crickets in there. I hope you’ll join me in building the discussion amongst the readers here.

I know that there are some great forums already online for this topic, with some very vibrant communities. But judging from the kinds of thoughts, ideas and questions I get in my email each day from readers of this site, I think there would be some interest in discussing those topics right here. Plus, it’ll be a way for Allie and I to get even more involved with folks here, and chat personally instead of just always blogging (which I still love, don’t worry).

Anyway, if you’re interested, please register for the forum and introduce yourself. To keep a handle on trolls and spammers, your first post has to be approved. After that, feel free to post all you want.

I needed to take a little time away from the blog this summer–but I’m back with more thoughts, photos, pinups and feelings about Allie’s exploits. Sorry for the pause in the action, but I needed a little bit of a breather. There’s just been too much going on. Now that the summer is in full swing and things are getting kind of normal around here, I have some energy to come back and spend more time with you guys here on the blog.

I’ve restored the archive of hotwife stories. It was one of the last nagging things on the site’s to-do list after we migrated to WordPress from Blogger. Now that it’s done, I’ll start adding new stories soon. In the meantime, please check out some of the oldies. A lot has been going on since my last post a little over a week ago.  I’m happy to announce that Allie had the baby and we couldn’t be more thrilled.  Everything is going great with the new addition, and we’re all adjusting to our new sleep schedule.  I can’t say that things are back to normal (or if they ever were–LOL), but the formerly pregnant Allie is doing great.

I don’t jump on IM very often during the day. Today, I was signed in for a little while and left to take a quick shower. When I came back, there were two very nice compliments (to me, for once–LOL) waiting for me. So nice, in fact, I thought I’d share with the group.

I just wanted to update everyone on Allie. She’s currently 8 months pregnant–due in the middle of March. Everything seems to be going okay, though she’s tired a lot. We’ve scaled back our extracurricular playing to almost nothing, though we’re both frequently horny. I’m going to try to snap a few photos of her belly for everyone tonight or tomorrow.

For years now, this site has been called “Hotwife” Allie. I originally gravitated to the word ‘Hotwife,’ because in my early exploration and research of this kind of lifestyle, it seemed like the words “hot wife” were morphing into a new compound word, and it seems like I saw it more often than not as hotwife. Lately though, I’ve started to get weary of it always being underlined red in my text editor, ’cause it’s just not proper English. And the more I think about it, the more the word “hot” is really just the modifier? We wouldn’t call a cheating wife a “cheatingwife” necessarily, right? LOL I’ve also noticed that a lot of my favorite sites out there about the topic are using the term “hot wife” more often. So, I’m going with that. You’ve probably already noticed changes in some of the site navigation and references on pages, though I don’t expect to go back through previous posts to make edits. Thanks for everyone’s patience through the recent spat of confusing changes and updates.

Update (1/27/2007): I wonder if this might have been a little bit of a mistake. “Hotwife,” while incorrect grammar, is the “brand” so to speak. I expect to change it back to hotwife in certain places on the site, over the next day or two. LOL I guess I just saw the chance to make some changes that I’ve been looking at for awhile when we moved to a new host and over to new blogging software.

If you’ve been visiting us for awhile, already you’ve probably noticed that something is a little different. We’ve changed blogging platforms and templates. We’ll be experimenting with our new look for a while, I’m sure, so if you see something screwy, please be patient. I’m also working on getting all of our stories and photo galleries moved over also.

As you look over some of the changes, please let me know what you think.

Anyway, things have been going well, and I hope to update folks on all the cool stuff that’s going on very soon.

Allie and I would like to wish everyone out there a very merry Christmas and happy holidays. This is one of our favorite times of the year, and we hope that your holidays are happy, bright, safe and comfortable.

I haven’t been posting here as much as I’d like, for several reasons. All that is getting ready to change very soon. Here are a few things that are currently underway:

• I’m in the middle of changing web servers. We’re moving our hosting to a more robust and more affordable situation and we’ll be up and running there right after the holiday.
• I’m migrating the blogging platform off of Blogger and on to a self-hosted installation of WordPress. This should give me much more flexiblity.
• I’m adding a lot more artwork (like the Christmas pinup above). When I showed off the first set of cartoons a while ago, many of you wrote in asking to see more. So, Allie and I are working with a great cartoonist, and we’ll be posting many more cartoons and pinups in the coming weeks and months.
• I’m inviting other hot wives, their husbands and their lovers to post here and blog their adventures in addition to Allie’s and mine. If you’re interested, please let me know.
